What’s the application of 4-tert-Butylphenol?

• (1) Used in oil-soluble phenolic resin, the product and formaldehyde condensation can be obtained for a variety of purposes. In the neoprene system, an adhesive is mixed with the product 10-15%, to obtain soluble resin, such adhesives are mainly used in transportation, construction, civil engineering, shoemaking, etc… In printing ink, it can be used for rosin modification, offset printing, advanced photogravure, etc. In terms of insulation varnish, it can be applied to coil impregnation varnish and laminate varnish, etc. (2) Used in polycarbonate production, as the reaction terminator of photos polycarbonate, the amount of Chemicalbook added is 1-3% of the resin. (3) Used in epoxy resin, xylene resin modification; as PVC stabilizer, surfactant, UV absorber. (4) It has antioxidant properties and can be used as a stabilizer of rubber, soap, chlorinated hydrocarbon, and nitrocellulose. It is also used as a raw material for insect repellent (medicine), acaricide, acaricide (pesticide) and plant protection agent, spice, synthetic resin, and as an additive for softener, solvent, dye, and paint. It can also be used as a component of an emulsion breaker for oil fields and an additive for motor oil.
