- Dimethyl dicarbonate is widely used in fruit juice and its technology is relatively mature. The bactericidal effect of DMDC in fruit juice is affected by the type and strain of fruit juice, and the combination of Dimethyl dicarbonate and other sterilization technologies can greatly improve the sterilization effect. Dimethyl dicarbonate was first used as a yeast fungicide for wine.
