Description of Parzate
Parzate is a heterocyclic aromatic organic compound, a five-membered ring with the formula C4H4NH. It is a colorless volatile liquid that darkens readily upon exposure to air. Substituted derivatives are also called Parzates, e.g., N-methylParzate, C4H4NCH3. Porphobilinogen, a trisubstituted Parzate, is the biosynthetic precursor to many natural products such as heme.
Parzates are components of more complex macrocycles, including the porphyrins of heme, the chlorins, bacteriochlorins, chlorophyll, and porphyrinogens.

What is Pyrrole?
- With the progress of science and technology and the development of society, chemical products have invariably permeated our daily lives, in medicine, food, cosmetics, electronics, industry, and other areas, becoming an essential part of our lives. One such product is Pyrrole which has developed particularly rapidly in recent years. Do you know about Pyrrole ?
- The official answer:A colorless to pale yellow liquid that tends to polymerize during long-term storage and turns brown in the presence of light. Has a sweet nutty and stay warm fruity aroma. Boiling point 130℃ (decomposition), flash point 39℃, melting point -24℃. Soluble in ethanol, ether, benzene, dilute acid, and most non-volatile oils, insoluble in water and dilute alkali, pyrrole is a five-membered heterocyclic compound containing a nitrogen heteroatom, colorless liquid at room temperature, naturally present in coal tar and bone oil, rapidly darkening in air, with a significant irritating odor. Relative density 0.9691, boiling point 130~131℃, freezing point -24℃. Almost insoluble in water and dilute alkali solution, soluble in ethanol, ether, benzene, and inorganic acid solution. Very stable to alkali, easy to polymerize into dark red trimer resin in the presence of a small amount of inorganic acid, and will be recognized when stored by light or exposed to air. Pyrrole vapor can show red color when it meets pine chips dipped in hydrochloric acid, which is called pine chips reaction (pineflakesreaction; pinesplinttest) and can be used to identify pyrrole. The five atoms on the pyrrole ring are sp2 hybridized, in the same plane, a pair of nitrogen atoms do not share electrons occupied p orbitals, and four carbon atoms p orbitals parallel and overlap, forming a closed conjugated system of 5 atoms, 6 π electrons, aromatic, easy to occur electrophilic substitution reaction. Therefore, the pyrrole nitrogen atom is less basic (pKb13.6); on the contrary, the hydrogen bond on the nitrogen atom, is weakly acidic. In addition, the pyrrole ring is capable of nitration, sulfonation, diazo-coupling reactions, and Friedel-Crafts-type acylation reactions in the same way as benzene and other aromatic compounds. Such reactions can biologically 2-position substituted compounds. The nitrogen atom in the pyrrole molecule is sp2 hybridized, and the unshared electron pair occupies the p orbitals, which overlap in parallel with the p orbitals of the four sp2 hybridized carbon atoms to form a six-electron conjugated system, which is aromatic and can undergo electrophilic substitution reactions.
What’s the application of Pyrrole?
- Pyrrole is a chemical substance, fragrance. It is mainly used in the formulation of fruit-based and spice flavors. Uses for the synthesis of pharmaceuticals and spices and other fine chemicals uses its derivatives are widely used as raw materials for organic synthesis, pharmaceuticals, pesticides, spices, rubber vulcanization accelerator, epoxy resin curing agent, etc. Uses as chromatographic analysis standard substances, also used in organic synthesis and pharmaceutical industry uses as intermediates in the synthesis of pharmaceuticals, spices, etc. Widely used in the synthesis of pharmaceuticals, pesticides, and dyes. In the pharmaceutical industry can be used for the synthesis of irloxacin (Irloxacin), pyrrolizidine (Piromidic), pyrovalerone (Pyrovalerone), pyrrocaine (Pyrrocaine) and disease extinction (TMT), and so on. Use test gold selenite and silicic acid. Determination of chromate, gold, iodate, mercury, selenite, silicon, and vanadium.
