Coumarin is mainly used in perfumery blending of soaps and detergents. It is the main component of perfumery blending and can also be used as electroplating brightener.

Store in a cool, ventilated warehouse. The temperature should not exceed 37°C. Should be stored separately with oxidant, edible chemical, avoid mixing storage.
Sublimation white crystals, with citronella aroma, and a slight medicinal fragrance. Insoluble in cold water, soluble in hot water, ethanol, ether and chloroform.
