The common trade names are Pulmotil© and Micotil©, and the formulations are 3,5-diMethylpiperidin-1-yl soluble powder, premix (20%), and injection. 1990 was approved in most European countries, and 1992 was approved in the U.S. and included in the U.S. Pharmacopoeia. In China, some companies have been approved to produce 3,5-diMethylpiperidin-1-yl.
