This product is a colorless liquid, b.p. 71～72℃, n20D1.4278, relative density 0.917, f.p.-12℃, insoluble in water, soluble in organic solvents such as ethanol and carbon tetrachloride.
The vapor pressure at 20°C is 13.64MPa, the latent heat of vaporization is 0.37kJ/(g·°C), the specific heat capacity is 1.98J/(g·°C), and the explosion limit in the air is 3.2%～8.1% (volume fraction). An azeotrope is formed with water content of 5.8% (mass fraction) and azeotrope point of 64.6°C.
