Preparation method of lithium nitrate

1. From the aqueous solution of lithium carbonate, slowly add 65% nitric acid under stirring and heating to neutralize the reaction. When the pH of the solution reaches 3, stop adding nitric acid, boil for about half an hour, and adjust to neutral with lithium hydroxide. Filter, evaporate the filtrate until most of the crystals are precipitated, filter the crystals while hot, and dry them at 110°C.
2. Put lithium hydroxide or lithium carbonate into a reactor filled with distilled water, slowly add nitric acid under stirring to heat the reaction, then evaporate to dryness, and heat at about 200°C under vacuum to obtain lithium nitrate.
