Leucocrystal Violet Usage
1.Crystal violet is a basic dye that is soluble in water (solubility 9%) and alcohol (solubility 8.75%).
2.Crystal violet is an excellent dye in cytology, histology and bacteriology.
3.It is commonly used in nuclear staining to display the centrosome of the chromosome and to stain starch, fibrin, glial and so on.
4.Used as a reagent for the determination of bismuth, zinc, antimony, titanium, cadmium, tungsten, gold and mercury
