Lepidine production method

The product can be recovered from kerosene. The 260-267°C fraction intercepted from the heavy pyridine residue oil contains 35%-56% 4-methylquinoline. This fraction is reacted with 98% concentrated sulfuric acid in alcohol, and the temperature is controlled at 35°C to generate sulfonate. After cooling, crystallization, and filtration, the obtained crystal is recrystallized with 3 times the weight of alcohol to obtain a melting point greater than 220 Crystallization at ℃, then use 20% deep ammonia water to decompose to pH=8 at room temperature to obtain crude 4-methylquinoline. Then it is distilled in a distillation tower with 20 theoretical plates, and the distillate at 262.3-266.8°C is cut to obtain 4-methylquinoline with a purity of greater than 95%.
