1. Dibromomethane, as a pesticide intermediate, is the main raw material for synthesizing a new type of high-efficiency, broad-spectrum fungicide-and is also the raw material for large-tonnage acaricides.
2. Dibromomethane is a good flame retardant. Dibromomethane is added to the polymer to effectively reduce the heat of combustion when plastics burn.
3. In the pharmaceutical industry, dibromomethane is the raw material for the preparation of bactericides ciprofloxacin and imidazole.
4. The product is used as raw material for organic synthesis. Can be used as a component of solvents, refrigerants and antiknock agents; as a disinfectant and analgesic.
