D(+)-Tryptophan Usage
- As a non-protein active amino acid, D-tryptophan has special physiological properties, and can be used as a non-nutritive sweetener, feed additive, plant growth agent in the food and feed industry and agriculture.
- In the pharmaceutical industry, it is mainly used to synthesize various peptides, instead of L-tryptophan to prolong the half-life of peptide drugs and reduce side effects, so as not to cause drug resistance and become an important synthetic precursor of enzyme inhibitors.
- It can improve the body’s immunity and delay the occurrence of allergic reactions. Most peptide antibiotics can resist Gram-positive bacteria, and some have good inhibition or killing effects on Gram-negative bacteria such as Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Mycobacterium, fungi, pathogens, pathogens and tumor cells.
