Alpha-arbutin is a chemical substance. Alpha-arbutin is similar to arbutin, which can inhibit the production and deposition of melanin, and remove stains and freckles. Studies have shown that-arbutin can inhibit the activity of tyrosinase at relatively low concentrations, and its inhibitory effect on tyrosinase is better than that of arbutin. Alpha-arbutin can be used in cosmetics as a whitening agent.
