一、Application of hyaluronic acid in the medical field
HA is used for: orthopedics
Obstetrics and Gynecology
surgical
ophthalmology
Dermatology-{cosmetic}{Injection beauty}
The HA in cosmetics and externally applied drugs cannot reach the dermis. Only injections can be used to make use of the skin.
二、Application of hyaluronic acid in cosmetics
HA is used in anti-wrinkle products, anti-sag and repair products, moisturizing products, etc.
·The molecular weight and addition amount of HA in cosmetics are often different due to different product properties. The higher the molecular weight of HA, the better the film-forming properties, but the poorer permeability. Therefore, the appropriate molecular weight HA should be selected according to the different uses of cosmetics.
·The addition amount is generally 0.1%, and the addition amount of special-purpose cosmetics can reach more than 0.5%. Generally, high molecular weight HA should be selected for anti-wrinkle and sunscreen cosmetics, and the dosage should be 0.1%~0.5%: while products such as facial cleansers and facial masks mainly use the permeability of HA, low molecular weight HA should be selected, and the dosage is generally 0.1%.
三、Hyaluronic acid injection beauty
HA can be produced by the human body. It is a non-animal-derived preparation and will not cause infection or allergies. No skin test is required before use.
· "Persistent fillers", not "permanent" fillers, will not produce permanent side effects.
·HA preparations may also have some temporary redness and swelling during clinical application, but they still have absolute advantages compared with semi-permanent and permanent fillings.
四、Hyaluronic acid filler
·At present, more than 30 manufacturers provide about 75 brands of dermal filler products in the global market. Up to now, the US FDA has approved 9 types of hyaluronic acid fillers for use in the United States.
·To date, the sales of the global dermal fillers market will reach approximately 1.5 billion U.S. dollars, of which hyaluronic acid fillers will account for 60% to 70% of the market.
·It is currently the most widely used and safest filler product.
· Whether it is now or in the near future, hyaluronic acid fillers will still be the mainstream products of dermal fillers.
