In vitro experiments have shown that this product can relax isolated cerebral blood vessels, can inhibit isolated vasoconstriction caused by calcium ion inward flow, can inhibit the contractile effect of various mechanisms of cerebral vasoconstrictor drugs, inhibit intracellular calcium ion, the effect of vasoconstriction, but does not reduce the intracellular calcium ion concentration, inhibit the production of myosin light chain phosphorylates during vasoconstriction. It is used clinically to improve and prevent cerebral vasospasm and consequent cerebral ischemic symptoms after subarachnoid hemorrhage surgery. It is administered intravenously 30 mg once, 2 to 3 times a day. This agent is started early after subarachnoid hemorrhage and is usually applied for 2 weeks.
