1. 2,4-Dichloroaniline is an important drug and dye intermediate. It is a white needle-like crystal, soluble in organic solvents such as ethanol and ether, and acids, slightly soluble in water, and easily oxidized and discolored in the air. Its melting point is 59 ~ 63 ℃, boiling point 242 ℃.
