Benzyl benzoate usage
- Used as a solvent for musk and as a fragrance fixative, and as a substitute for camphor in celluloid. It is also used as a plasticizer, especially when nitrocellulose is mixed with resin, it can be mixed with diethyl phthalate or dibutyl phthalate. In addition, it is also used to formulate pertussis medicine, asthma medicine, insect repellent and acaricide.
- Mainly used as a deodorant. It is used to prepare strawberry, pineapple, cherry and other fruit edible flavors and alcoholic flavors, and is also used in jasmine, lily of the valley, ylang-ylang, gardenia, tuberose, lilac and other daily flavors.
