- Seasonings; pH adjusters (such as used in sake); flavor improvers; cryoprotectants; antioxidant synergists; emulsifiers; quality improvers for baked goods (cakes, egg rolls, biscuits, etc.); moisture retention Agent; cheese plasticizer. The dosage is limited to normal production needs (FAO/WHO, 1984).
