- 1,4,5,8-naphthalenetetracarboxylic acid is mainly used for the production of reduced brilliant orange GR (reduced jujube 2R), reduced red GG, reduced brown B, reduced brown 5R and other vat dyes and degradable dyes.
- 1,4,5,8-naphthalenetetracarboxylic acid can also be used to produce novel polyimides, TNM polyimides and TNM polymers with good insulation and resistance to radioactivity and high temperature (above 400 degrees Celsius).
